Lowenstein Sandler represented Pomelo Care, the national leader in evidence-based healthcare for women and children, in its $92 million Series C funding round, bringing the company’s valuation to $1.7 billion and setting a new national standard for women’s and children’s healthcare. The round was led by Stripes and included participation from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), PLUS Capital, Atomico, BoxGroup, and SV Angel.
Pomelo intends to use the funding to accelerate its proven maternity care model and extend that same evidence-based approach to new stages of life.
Lowenstein previously represented Pomelo Care in a $46 million Series B financing to improve maternal and newborn healthcare and a $33 million Seed and Series A fund raise.
The Lowenstein team included Leia K. Galasso, Eric Weiner, Claire Dronzek, Christopher W. Raymond, Antonia E. Spano, and Chynara Tolubaeva.
