Lowenstein Sandler is serving as co-counsel to Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited (BKK:IVL) in its pending acquisition of DuPont Teijin Films. The cross-border deal includes eight production assets across the United States, Europe, and China, with a global innovation center in the United Kingdom. Lowenstein is representing Indorama Ventures on the US components of the acquisition. Through the acquisition, Indorama will further enhance PET integration and value enhancement through captive NDC, a specialty chemical used in high performance polymers and films. Indorama Ventures, based in Bangkok, Thailand, is a global chemical producer and the world's only commercial manufacturer of NDC. Allen & Overy is serving as co-counsel.
