STRIDES®—Advancing Women in Business is a Lowenstein Sandler initiative that organizes high-quality events to promote visibility, leadership opportunities, and powerful peer-to-peer connectivity for women in business. Past speakers have included Susan Cain, Lisa Belkin, Julie Morgenstern, Nancy Lublin, Sylvia Ann Hewlett, and Gretchen Rubin. STRIDES brings together mid-to-senior level executive and professional women to develop and implement strategies for effective career advancement, generating meaningful impact on women today and for future generations.

We have formed enduring partnerships with other mission-aligned organizations and nonprofits to address some of the world’s toughest challenges facing women in the workforce. The progress we have achieved through STRIDES has been recognized by the Center for Work-Life Policy. Our commitment to STRIDES resulted in an invitation to join the Center’s Hidden Brain-Drain Task Force, through which academic and business leaders formulate policies and solutions to address the challenge companies face in retaining talented women and minorities. STRIDES often partners with other prestigious organizations to sponsor events, including the New Jersey Corporate Counsel Association, as well as with 85 Broads, the famed independent women’s network that connects over 17,000 members around the world.

Through STRIDES, Lowenstein Sandler is addressing some of the most pressing economic and social issues facing women today and helping to generate broad and enduring change in redefining the workforce.
