The New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) and law firm Lowenstein Sandler are proud to announce a first-of-its-kind annual partnership that will unite the two organizations across a series of the NJSBA’s flagship events and initiatives.

This unique collaboration will commence at the NJSBA’s Annual Meeting & Convention in Atlantic City in May, and extend throughout the year to key programs such as the Mid-Year Meeting, the Diversity Summit, the AI Symposium, and the Business Law Symposium. Under the leadership of incoming NJSBA President Christine A. Amalfe, this strategic partnership is poised to advance thought leadership and foster innovation in the New Jersey legal community.

For Lowenstein, an organization with deep roots in New Jersey and one of the largest law firms in the state, this partnership represents a natural extension of its dedication to the state’s legal community and its tradition of service. Christopher Porrino, partner and Chair of Lowenstein’s Litigation Department, and former Attorney General of New Jersey, says: “Lowenstein Sandler is honored to partner with the New Jersey State Bar Association in the coming year. We have always believed in giving back to our professional community, and working closely with the NJSBA allows us to contribute on an even larger scale. Through this partnership, we look forward to sharing our attorneys’ insights and collaborating on programs that reinforce our shared commitment to excellence in the practice of law.”

By committing top talent and thought leaders to NJSBA events, Lowenstein underscores its role as a stakeholder in the future of the profession. The firm’s attorneys across various disciplines – from corporate and business law to technology, litigation, and public interest – will actively participate in programs ranging from moderating and speaking on panels, to mentoring young attorneys, to contributing ideas that address the evolving needs of practitioners and the community.

“Lowenstein Sandler is a cornerstone in the state’s legal practice with a reputation that extends far beyond the courtroom. They are an ideal partner to help further the NJSBA’s mission to advocate for the profession, advance the rule of law, present quality legal education and ensure access to justice for all. I am thrilled to work with Lowenstein Sandler as NJSBA president and look forward to all we can accomplish together,” Amalfe said.

The joint efforts of NJSBA and Lowenstein will also expand networking opportunities, allowing attorneys from all over the state to connect with one another and with leaders in the field. In turn, this will foster a stronger, more unified legal community ready to tackle emerging challenges together.
