William Denver is an experienced litigator and trial attorney who focuses his practice on the resolution of sophisticated commercial disputes, particularly those involving insurance coverage. Bill’s analytic, investigative, negotiation, and litigation skills in court proceedings (as well as arbitrations and mediations) have resulted in recoveries for clients totaling over two billion dollars in judgments and settlements over the course of his 25-year career.

Bill represents parties seeking insurance coverage for claims arising from D&O, E&O, product liability, asbestos, environmental, first-party property, malpractice, and disparagement issues in industries ranging from financial services and investment funds to home health care, manufacturing, and hospitality. He also handles a wide range of civil litigation matters, including internal investigations, environmental claims, and attorney ethics.

Bill began his career as law clerk for the Hon. Herman Michels (past Chief Judge of the New Jersey Appellate Division). He then worked as an Assistant District Attorney at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, where he handled hundreds of criminal cases and conducted numerous trials to verdict.

In 2018, Bill was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to serve a four-year term on the District Ethics Committee for District IX.
