Stacey C. Tyler handles a broad array of real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, financing, hospitality, joint ventures, and public-private partnership arrangements. Her clients range from institutional landlords and lenders to tech startups. She manages all stages of the transaction process, drafting and negotiating operative documents, analyzing due diligence, collaborating on risk management strategies, and liaising with third party service providers (e.g., brokers, title companies, surveyors, zoning analysts, and environmental consultants).

Stacey’s work spans all 50 states, and her broad-based experience gives her the perspective to effectively assess key issues and help her clients achieve their goals.

Stacey has extensive experience in real estate issues in connection with the emerging recreational cannabis market in New Jersey. She works closely with her government affairs colleagues to represent landlords, tenants, sellers, and purchasers of sites for cannabis retail or cultivation operations in conjunction with submission of license applications to the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission.

Stacey is a co-host of “Terra Firma: Conversations on Commercial Real Estate,” the firm’s monthly podcast series that covers the latest market outlook and cyclical trends and provides strategic tips to help manage commercial real estate assets, investments, and developments.

Prior to joining Lowenstein Sandler, Stacey was an associate at a large international firm in New York City where she focused on commercial real estate finance, primarily on lender-side loan originations for capital markets. She also served as an intern to the Hon. Carolyn E. Demarest (Ret.) of the Kings County Supreme Court, Commercial Division.

  • Represented Applied Digital Corporation in the pending sale of its 200-megawatt Bitcoin mining data center in Garden City, Texas to Marathon Digital Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: MARA) for $97.3 million. The Bitcoin mining data center is located adjacent to a wind farm and uses predominantly renewable energy.
  • Advised on real estate matters as part of the deal team for Cerity Partners in connection with distinct mergers with investment and wealth management firms, including Gamble Jones Investment Counsel, Ashfield Capital Partners, LLC, Maryland Capital Management, LLC, and Covington Capital Management.
  • Represented an affiliate of the private equity firm ZMC in its acquisition of InProduction Holding Corp. and its subsidiaries. 
  • Representing landlords, tenants, sellers, and purchasers of sites for cannabis retail or cultivation operations in conjunction with submission of license applications to the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission.
  • Represented a financial institution in its provision of term and construction loan financing for a housing community in New Jersey. The construction loan will fund the initial site work and infrastructure for the project which will comprise multi-family residences, convenience retail, indoor and outdoor amenity space, green spaces for the community, a recreational complex, and parking.
  • Represented a software company in the negotiation of a lease for their new 23,623 square foot headquarters in a premier building in the Hudson Yards neighborhood of Manhattan, helping the client to leverage their bargaining power in this full floor deal, which included a turnkey build out, early termination right, and right of first offer to expand onto additional floors.
  • Represented the landlord in connection with a complex lease transaction in Lower Manhattan with a not-for-profit K-12 private school, encompassing a “building within a building” condo regime of over 60,000 square feet and entailing specific requirements for real property tax exemptions available to not-for-profit entity tenants.
  • Represented a luxury fashion e-commerce company in the lease of more than 85,000 square feet in downtown Manhattan.
