Sarah Scott is Lowenstein Sandler’s Associate General Counsel. In this position, Sarah assists the firm’s General Counsel in conflicts of interest, ethics, and other risk management issues. She is also responsible for the review, analysis, and resolution of potential conflicts with respect to new business intake as well as lateral attorney and new attorney hires.

Prior to joining Lowenstein Sandler, Sarah was a litigation associate with Patton Boggs, LLP, an Am Law 100 firm. While there, Sarah was an integral member of the defense team that represented the City of New York and over 80 construction companies sued in In re World Trade Center Disaster Litigation, the largest mass toxic tort litigation in American history. In that matter, Sarah served as a member of the Defendants’ Co-Liaison Counsel, acting as an advisor to and representative for more than 350 corporate defendants. She has extensive experience with complex litigation and arbitration, both at the state and federal level. She has represented clients in a broad variety of matters involving commercial disputes, lender liability, consumer fraud, product liability, securities, mass torts, and internal investigations.

Sarah attended the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, and Seton Hall University School of Law, in Newark, New Jersey, where she was a Chancellor’s Scholar and a Distinguished Scholar. She is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and New York and is admitted to appear before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
