Pati Candelario is the 2022 Pro Bono Fellow in the Lowenstein Center for the Public Interest.
She formerly clerked for Justice Fabiana Pierre-Louis of the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
Pati also served as an intern for the Hon. Esther J. Salas of the United States District Court of New Jersey.
While pursuing her J.D., Pati was a Fellow at the Center for Security, Race, and Rights at Rutgers Law School, where she conducted research in the areas of transnational rights, government accountability, and counterterrorism.
A former high school Spanish teacher, Pati also worked for Teach for America for several years, supporting college access programs in rural areas. She is fluent in Spanish.
