Kwonsun Jung advises domestic and international clients on M&A, private equity, and corporate governance matters. His practice has involved transactions in a variety of industries, including consumer products, gaming, manufacturing, and technology.  He has represented numerous large, brand-name corporations in multi-million- and billion-dollar sales and acquisitions.  Kwonsun’s experience includes working with both buyers and sellers on such complex transactions as SPACs, joint ventures, and PIPE deals.

Prior to joining Lowenstein, he clerked for the United States Attorney’s Office in Baltimore, Maryland before practicing M&A at two top ten Am Law 100 firms.

  • Representing PVH Corp. (NYSE:PVH) in the pending sale of its Warners, Olga, and True & Co. businesses to Basic Resources, a private, family-owned organization that manufactures and distributes apparel for leading consumer brands.
  • The below transactions were completed before October 2023, prior to joining Lowenstein Sandler:
    • Represented a major car dealership company in its $3.2 billion acquisition of a competitor
    • Represented one of the largest internet companies in Asia in a $1.4B acquisition of a leading social marketplace
    • Represented a publicly traded provider of identity solutions in its all cash $2.8B acquisition by a leading software investment firm
    • Represented an automobile consumer products company in its $2.5 billion sale to a competitor
    • Represented a major entertainment brand in its sale and combination with a well-known sports franchise to form a new, publicly listed entertainment giant
    • Represented a publicly traded industrial metal producer in acquisitions of several related entities for a total enterprise value of approximately $775M
    • Represented a minimally invasive surgical device manufacturer provider in its cash-and-stock acquisition by a leading medical technology company
    • Represented a leading private equity firm in its $75M minority stake purchase of a major online job training course provider
