Joshua Baskin advises U.S. and non-U.S. clients on U.S. federal, state, and local tax matters in both domestic and international contexts. His practice focuses on partnership and corporate tax matters, matters relating to investment funds and their investors, and mergers and acquisitions and debt transactions.

His practice includes advising on intercompany transactions, including reorganizations, recapitalizations, and other internal restructurings, as well as the negotiation of derivatives and similar financial instruments.

Josh also has extensive experience representing private equity funds in fund structuring and formation, negotiations with limited partners, and the acquisition and sale of portfolio companies.
