Diane Moss is counsel at Lowenstein Sandler, where she focuses on technology transactions, commercial transactions, technology licensing and artificial intelligence (AI) governance, policy, and regulation. Drawing on more than twenty years of deal management experience, she counsels clients ranging from early-stage startups to publicly traded companies across a variety of industries, including technology, digital advertising, media, entertainment, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.
Diane regularly drafts, negotiates, and advises on complex [commercial] agreements, including SaaS agreements, master services agreements, technology and intellectual property licensing agreements, data and content licensing agreements, vendor agreements, collaboration agreements, contract research organization (CRO) agreements, and clinical trial agreements. Her AI practice ranges from drafting policies and guidelines for the use of AI tools and negotiating AI-focused collaboration agreements to advising clients on the laws and regulatory frameworks that apply to AI. Across each of these areas, she applies a broad perspective to meet clients’ needs and helps companies address compliance in this area at all levels of their business.
Prior to joining Lowenstein, Diane served as Senior Corporate Counsel at Time Warner, where she focused on transactional work, collaboration and licensing agreements and compliance. Concurrently, she acted as legal advisor to the company’s community relations arm. Beyond her core role, Diane also served as counsel to the Quincy Jones Listen Up Foundation and as a board member of the Jonathan Levin Fund. Today, Diane remains active in nonprofit leadership, serving as Vice President of the Board of GlassRoots Foundation and as a board member of the Thomas Edison Film Foundation and the Orchid Foundation.
