Deangeor Chin counsels domestic and international borrowers and lenders across a broad range of industries in secured and unsecured financing transactions, including first lien, second lien, mezzanine, term loan, and revolving facilities. She is experienced in drafting and negotiating secured and unsecured credit facilities, debt financing cooperation covenants, and lender protection provisions of merger, stock, and asset purchase agreements in connection with acquisition financings.
Deangeor also advises venture funds on investments in high-growth startups and counsels emerging companies through the full corporate life cycle, from formation, through financings, and M&A.
Deangeor has worked on asset sales, mergers, restructurings, and asset-based lending for Fortune 500 companies on numerous transactions valued in excess of several billion dollars.
A former associate of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, Deangeor previously externed at a Dutch human rights law firm while studying for her LL.M. in the Netherlands.
Prior to her legal career, she was an analyst at Goldman Sachs, where she assessed broker-dealer counterparts, negotiated trade document risk mitigants and transaction terms, and liaised with product desk traders to evaluate and approve unique trades.
