Lowenstein Sandler represented Citadel Servicing Corporation (CSC) in its acquisition by funds controlled by HPS Investment Partners LLC.
CSC is a leader in Non-QM/Non-Prime Wholesale and Correspondent Lending products. The company specializes in alternative income products, such as bank statements, asset depletion, and verification of employment.
HPS is a global investment firm that specializes in creative capital solutions and manages strategies across capital structures. HPS was founded in 2007 and has $61 billion in assets under management as of January 2020.
The acquisition provides CSC with access to substantial resources as well as HPS’s experience in growing businesses. This will enable CSC to cement its position as the leader in the non-QM space.
The Lowenstein deal team included Jonathan C. Wishnia, Brittany T. Esser, Lucas C. Maranhao, Andrew E. Graw, Brian A. Silikovitz, Min Xue, Julie Levinson Werner, Jack Sidorov, Tracy F. Buffer, Taryn E. Cannataro, Alexander Dinur, and Alex Galev.
