Lowenstein Partner David Leit acted as the lead author in a SCOTUS amicus brief submitted in Gill v. Whitford on behalf of eleven diverse organizations united by their commitment to good governance and civil society. The case challenges Wisconsin’s Act 43, which re-drew Wisconsin’s electoral districts in 2010 for deliberately partisan purposes. A decision from SCOTUS is expected by spring.
