Yarissa Subervi’s corporate work includes assisting with fund formation, structured finance matters, and corporate governance, as well as transactions such as mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to her legal career, Yarissa worked in the construction industry as an engineer in projects with values ranging from $60 million to $650 million.

While pursuing her J.D., she worked full-time as a contracts manager at a marine construction and dredging contractor, drafting and negotiating agreements for subcontracts, materials, private owners, consulting, rentals, and charters. She has also prepared cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects including Newark Airport Terminal A, JFK Airport Runway Redevelopment, and the Vancouver Airport Runway Extension.

Yarissa has performed pro bono work in naturalization, asylum, and related immigration matters.

She is fluent in Spanish.
