Lowenstein Sandler is proud to announce that the 2023 edition of Chambers High Net Worth (HNW) has recognized the firm and five of its partners in the area of Private Wealth Law.

For the sixth year in a row, Lowenstein was ranked as Band 1 for Private Wealth Law in New Jersey, the only firm to receive this top ranking in this category.

Beth Shapiro Kaufman, National Chair of Lowenstein’s Private Client Services practice, was ranked in Band 1 for Private Wealth Law, both Nationwide and in the District of Columbia. “I am honored — not only by my own recognition but that of my colleagues,” says Kaufman. “Chambers rankings illustrate the high esteem in which we are held by our clients and our peers; they play a crucial role in showing us what we are doing well, and in encouraging us to continue providing the highest level of client service.”

Michael N. Gooen, Co-Chair of the firm’s Family Office practice, and Warren K. Racusin, Chair of the firm’s Trusts & Estates group, who have both ranked for the last eight years, this year were listed in Band 1 in the category of Private Wealth Law in New Jersey. Ashley Steinhart was recognized as a Senior Statesman.

Megan E. Wernke, partner in the firm’s D.C. office, has been recognized by Chambers for six consecutive years in the category of Private Wealth Law in the District of Columbia.

Racusin says: “Since Beth, Megan, and their colleagues joined Lowenstein, they have taken our already strong practice to an even higher level. Chambers’ rankings show that our groups have melded seamlessly, consistently maintaining the superior quality of work in tax and estate planning for which our practice has always been known.”
