Lowenstein Sandler is pleased to announce that Louis K. Rothberg has joined the Global Trade & National Security practice as senior counsel in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.
With extensive experience in diverse international trade issues from his work at federal regulatory agencies and major law firms, Rothberg counsels U.S. and foreign entities on all aspects of global trade, exports control, and economic sanctions. He advises companies on how to effectively communicate with legislators, law enforcement officials, and policymakers, and he provides perspective on how to facilitate investor, supplier, distributor, and customer relationships; finance and sell global businesses and assets; and respond to audits, voluntary disclosures, and enforcement proceedings with entities such as the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
