Our 10-week summer program introduces law students to the full spectrum of the practice of law in an environment that is supportive and challenging. Opportunities are available for candidates with superior academic, writing, and organizational skills.

We are committed to strengthening the legal pipeline by expanding opportunities for qualified first-year law students who offer different perspectives. Our LS Scholars Program is an extension of this commitment. In addition to their weekly salary, LS Scholars receive a $10,000 scholarship toward second-year tuition after successful completion of the 1L summer associate program.
If a Scholar returns for their 2L summer, they receive a paid summer associate position and an additional scholarship for their third year.
We seek lawyers who will thrive in a flexible environment that provides early opportunities and encourages you to chart the course of your own career. From early in your tenure, you may find yourself handling depositions, negotiating complex deals, or even sitting as second chair at trial. Interacting directly with members of the firm and our clients on high-level and complex matters, our associates assume greater levels of responsibility than do junior lawyers at comparable firms. For each new lawyer, we provide guidance, mentoring, ongoing education, and top-flight technology and administrative support.
The 2024 Pro Bono Fellow will to be a member of the team of the Lowenstein Center for the Public Interest for one year before cycling into the litigation department, where a two-year commitment is preferable. The Pro Bono Fellow will be responsible for a docket of pro bono litigation matters under the supervision of Center leadership. For one year, beginning in 2024, the Pro Bono Fellow will maintain an active litigation practice in pro bono matters including, but not limited to, impact litigation, immigration, housing, and criminal and juvenile justice.
