With a strong technical background in electrical and mechanical engineering, Yashas focuses his practice on preparing and prosecuting patents across a wide range of industries, including data processing, machine learning, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, digital signal and image processing, and software applications.

Yashas is skilled in all stages of domestic and international patent prosecution: he has prepared numerous non-provisional applications and secured scores of patents from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He has managed foreign counsel on the prosecution of counterpart applications before the European Patent Office (EPO) and Indian Patent Office (IPO). 

Yashas also advises on IP-related issues in corporate and commercial transactions. He has litigated intellectual property disputes in the federal district courts and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.
