Thorough and detail-oriented, Keara is a trusted advisor to a wide variety of stakeholders in matters of insolvency. Her experience includes representing debtors, creditors' committees, individual creditors, trustees, and other parties in the context of complex Chapter 11 bankruptcies, state insolvency proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, estate winddowns and adversary proceedings. Keara’s strengths lie in her attention to detail and her ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with clients to ensure that their unique concerns are addressed, and the best possible result is achieved.

Committed to community service, Keara maintains a steady pro bono practice representing debtors in Chapter 7 bankruptcies, unaccompanied minors in immigration proceedings, and tenants in tenancy court. She previously served as the Alan V. Lowenstein Fellow at Essex-Newark Legal Services, where she represented low-income individuals in landlord-tenant disputes both in court and in administrative proceedings.

Prior to joining Lowenstein, Keara served as law clerk to the Honorable Dennis Cavanaugh, U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
