Ike Omoruna represents emerging companies in tech and the venture and growth funds that invest in them. His practice includes venture, M&A, and PE transactions, as well as general corporate matters and work involving fintech and blockchain.

Before moving to the United States, Ike practiced law at a leading commercial boutique firm in Toronto, Canada. He has also worked for Legal Aid Cambodia, an NGO located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. During his three years of law school, Ike worked at Fair Change Community Services, where he advocated for homeless and street-involved individuals, frequently negotiating with prosecutors and judges.

A competitive athlete, Ike was recognized as an Academic All Canadian, an honor awarded to elite student athletes who maintain a straight A average through college. He ran for Team Canada, representing Canada in numerous international track and field events and earning a bronze medal for the 60 meter dash in Canada’s Inter-University Sports Championships.

During law school, Ike separately earned a certificate in Fintech (with an emphasis on blockchain) at Oxford University.
