Ana represents clients in investigative, criminal, and civil matters before federal, state, and administrative forums. Her investigative experience ranges from reviews of whistleblower complaints to employee misconduct and wrongful death accusations.

Ana also defends clients in a variety of criminal litigation. She has assisted individuals facing prosecution in Medicare/Medicaid fraud, bribery, and conspiracy cases.

In addition, Ana represents clients in complex civil cases. She has defended clients in qui tam litigation, land use proceedings, class action consumer fraud lawsuits, misappropriation of trade secrets matters, contract and lease disputes, insurance and indemnification concerns, and employment discrimination cases. She also has served as co-counsel before state appellate courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Prior to entering private practice, Ana was a Charles C. Ruff Fellow at the District of Columbia Office of the Attorney General, where she defended the district in employment discrimination, civil rights, general torts, and Freedom of Information Act claims. She also clerked for the Hon. Carol Ann Dalton, Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, and she worked as a policy fellow in the office of a U.S. congressman.
