Samantha (Sam) Sigelakis-Minski advises on anti-money laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and other regulatory compliance requirements and documentation in connection with client onboarding processes at financial institutions.
Prior to joining the firm, Sam worked as an AML associate at JPMorgan Chase, where she provided global financial crimes compliance (GFCC) guidance on issues including money laundering, political exposure, elder and vulnerable issues, sanctions violations, and material negative news. She also worked as a Capital Markets Compliance Associate, providing guidance to J.P. Morgan Wealth Management regarding implementation of FINRA regulations pertaining to Regulation Best Interest and reviewing and updating wealth management policies and standards to reflect new SEC rules for security-based swaps under Dodd-Frank.
In law school, Sam interned for the Hon. Jane A. Restani of the U.S. Court of International Trade in New York City.
She is proficient in French.
