Alex Leibowitz represents companies, venture funds, strategic investors, and strategic acquirers in complex securities transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, and secondary sales, as well as in matters of corporate governance. Alex has counseled buyers and sellers in hundreds of transactions, including more than 100 M&A transactions and more than 100 financing transactions—many involving intellectual property assets in the technology sector, including in Big Data, FinTech, AdTech, E-Commerce, Healthcare, and Real Estate Technology.

Leveraging close to 15 years of experience, Alex anticipates issues and provides valuable assistance and insights to his clients. Founders and executives appreciate his ability to simplify complicated matters and present practical choices and solutions.   • Represented Noxx Technologies, Inc. in its acquisition by Beckett Collectibles, LLC
  • Represented Brooklinen, Inc., a direct-to-consumer brand in the home essentials category, in a strategic investment by Freeman Spogli & Co. and growth equity investment by Summit Partners
  • Represented Market Performance Group, a provider of sales strategy, account management, data and analytics, distribution/order to cash, and consulting services to health, personal care, food, and other consumer packaged goods across brick-and-mortar and e-commerce retail channels in its financing by Insignia Capital Group
  • Represented Beekman 1802, Inc. in a strategic $92 million investment by investment group Eurazeo, Cohesive Capital Partners, and the Cherng Family Trust
  • Represented Food52, Inc. in a growth equity investment from TCG and in its acquisitions of both Schoolhouse, the Portland, OR–based lighting and lifestyle goods company, for approximately $48 million in cash and stock; and Dansk, the brand known for its iconic Danish designs 
  • Represented DealCloud, Inc., which specializes in CRM and deal management for investment banking and private equity firms, in its acquisition by Integration Appliance, Inc. (“Intapp”)
  • Represented Magna Electronics Inc. in its joint venture with Rohinni LLC to produce ultra-thin micro LED lighting solutions
